THE WATCHERS
The Watchers build, maintain, and guard the Hope's End's walls from attackers. Their role among the Scavengers falls mostly to the defense of the city of Hope's End, and they are not outside of the walls of the city as often as the Sentinels and Reclaimers.

Ember of Excellence
It wasn't often that Hope's End was able to dedicate resources to more recreational events and activities. Back in the day, however, the annual fireworks festival was an event to raise spirits and inspire the people to keep surviving--an event that had always amazed Aura in her youth.
Eighteen years since the last fireworks festival, Aura now co-leads a squad of the Scavengers' town defense branch, The Watchers, along with her twin brother. Bringing a sense of diligence and duty to her brother's otherwise unorthodox leadership style, the two have stopped many attacks on Hope's End and plan to continue their efforts as the main line of defense for the train. As the days count down to their departure on the line, Aura plans to revive the long lost fireworks festival as a final display of unity before leaving their home behind.
